Miyazaki Gyu opened its doors to the world about a year ago and has gained much popularity ever since. And why not! The restaurant promises the best and serves the best. Miyazaki beef is not any ordinary beef. It is tested by the best meat grading system in Japan and only the meat that is graded 4 or above is considered good enough to be Miyazaki beef.

Here at Miyazaki Gyu, wagyu of the best quality is served.  If you get the chance to experience the exquisite flavors of this place once in your entire life, you will be satisfied and you will be privileged enough to know what a real beef dish tastes like, in its most divine form.  This is true experiential dining that will create ripples in your foodie diary.

The thin beef slices are oh so beautifully put together and served with excellence to ensure that the food is done justice by presenting it in a way that makes it look as awe-striking and fabulous as it tastes.  It will be educational, as well as social, as the staff engages in its clientele with its farm-to-table stories — straight from Japan.

Miyazaki Gyu now open in Manila is one of Japan’s best restaurants and one of the most premium fine dining places in respect to quality, taste, and the overall experience altogether.  The mastermind behind all of this is the Chef who prepares the beef with such exquisite flavor and perfection.  He is none other than Chef Kensuke Sakai.

Chef Kensuke is the famous chef of Japan who owns West Park Café and Nigiro and was also the youngest contender on Iron Chef Japan (Battle Pumpkin, against Iron Chef Italian Masahiko Kobe, in 1998).  He is known as Chef Ken and he prepares the meat that is served in Miyazaki Gyu with his own very talented hands.

Better yet, with the fame and success of the restaurant and his food, Chef Ken still says that he simply loves what he does and is blessed to able to do it every day.  It is this passion and love for cooking such amazing food and serving it to the people that visit Miyazaki Gyu that shows in his outstanding and absolutely unique dishes.

He enjoys watching the people as they dive into his creations from behind that glass that separates his cooking area from the dining area. The first instinct of most people is to click the perfect picture of the amazingly beautiful and equally scrumptious food that they are served and they are not to be blamed because the presentation of the food is simply that amazing. It would be cruel to expect that a person would not want to capture the divine moment of experiences such a supple yet perfect beef dish.

Chef Ken is aware of all the permutations and possible combinations of beef with complimenting flavors. Whatever he prepares is sure to offer a blast to your taste buds. So now you know where to make an absolute must food-stop, the next time that you are visiting Japan!
